Re: Howto read a yaml file

Hi Stephan, If the yaml file structure looks always like this, you may use Pivot component instead of configuring ComplexDataReader. The process might look like this: ⋅ Read rows from the YAML file one by one using UniversalDataReader ⋅ Trim the strings (since the file contains a...

Re: Clover server no access to "Local Files"

Hi jblythe99,

Local browsing works only respectively to your local machine - to where the Designer is located. However, you can work with the local resources on the remote locations if you manually type the URL into the dialog.

Hope it helps.

Re: Community Edition -> DBOutputTable and Oracle Upserting

Hi Cassydeb,

From the information you have provided it is very difficult to find out what causes the issue. Can you attach the execution log and the graph file please so that we can see what you are trying to do?

Re: Where is the Lookup Join

Hi Skaszyk,

LookupJoin is a commercial component, so if you cannot find it in your Designer, you might use community version of the CloverETL Designer. In commercial version, LookupJoin component can be find in Joiners section.

Re: execute sqlldr from remote machine

Hi, In case you want to use OracleDataWriter, the Sqlldr utility has to be installed locally on the same machine. You cannot use sftp in this case. For more information on OracleDataWriter please refer to our documentation . In case you cannot access the Sqlldr utility locally, you can still use DBO...

Re: Try to Update record, Insert if not found

Hi,

Inner join is the default join type. So if Left outer join is false, which is its default value, the inner join type is automatically used.

Hope it helps.

Re: Split large data set when extracting data from source

Hi Marco, You should use Jobflows (comes with CloverETL Corporate Server) and File operations components ( ListFiles ) for this. ListFiles component can produce the list of files available for data transformation and then using ExecuteGraph, you can execute the graph for every single of the files fr...

Re: Operation executions_history

Hi,

You have just a typo in your GET request parameter. All parameter names are case sensitive and you used graphId instead of graphID. If you use the later one you'll get what you need.

Re: XMLExtract Extracting Wrong Field

Hi Harvard,

The issue is caused by "Use nested nodes" attribute (true by default) in XMLExtract. You can easily resolve the issue if you turn the attribute off.

Hope it helps.

Re: XML Extract Datamapping Issues.

Hi Siddhant, To you first question, the log is from a parent graph so it contains only very limited information about the child graph. However, it seems you are facing some kind of network connection issues. I would recommend you first checking if you are able to do the same action from another clie...

Re: XML Extract Datamapping Issues.

Hi Siddhant, I am not sure if I understand what you need. However, if your goal is to get all the information from the XML file into one Clover record, you will have to use multiple output ports at first and then join them together using a key (in your case it might be id of the record ). You should...

Re: Pass File name to JSON Extract

Hi Bhavin,

You mentioned you are not able to extract the data from the JSON, but could you please describe this little bit more (what you are getting and what you need to get)? The best would be if you could share the graph (with all related files) and the execution log with us.

Re: XML Extract Datamapping Issues.

Hi, I'm sorry I didn't realize you need to process remote file. In this case, you can get the content of the file using HTTPConnector. Simply pass the URL into the HTTPConnector using Input mapping attribute and then map the content of the file to the output field using the Output mapping attribute....

Re: XML Extract Datamapping Issues.

Hi Siddhant, You can prepare the URL with a reformat and send it through the edge to the input port of the JSONExtract. In File URL attribute you will use the input port with processing type source . Resulting value of the File URL component will look like this: port:$0.yourUrlField:source
